Course Outline

Course Description:

Eight separate modules designed to provide legal professionals with the skills and knowledge needed to navigate key compliance and ethical obligations in legal practice.

What You’ll Learn:                                                       

The Key principles of equality, diversity, and inclusion, how to use social media responsibly, and how to identify and support vulnerable clients while upholding ethical duties.

You’ll also gain a deeper understanding of pro bono work, how to detect and prevent fraud, manage third-party referrals ethically and about the legal profession’s role in combatting modern slavery.   The course aligns with the SRA competencies A1-A5 (Ethics, Professionalism and Judgment), B7 (Technical Legal Practice), C1-C3 (Working with Others) and D1-D3 (Managing yourself and your work).

Course Modules:

Each module contains one or more multiple-choice assessments. A pass mark of 80% is required for each assessment.
